Nick is singer, songwriter, mac programmer and sometime guitarist for the instamatics.

Born July 10 in the year of the smile, Nick is energy undiluted.

He dances to the beat of a different drum. Lucky for him Matt knows how to treat the beats.

Nick has a strong interest in positivity, health and nutrition, and eats a vegan diet. He is a keen surfer, snowboarder, old school carve style skateboarder, cross country mountain biker, fitness junkie, and is into all things active.

When not absorbed with music, writing, creative thinking, exercise, reading or watching movies, he's likely taking a split second to admire the sunflowers.

Nick has a bachelor degree in marketing, runs a small creative business called gocreate, is currently developing a product idea aimed at the snowboard market and works part time at a surf and snow shop.

Nick plays the mic and a Mac. At times he also plays a Maton acoustic or a Rickenbacker 330 hollow body electric through a Line 6 POD 2.0 straight into the PA.

Musical influences and interests include: the Killers, We Are Scientists, Stereophonics, Yellowcard, Hello Goodbye, Radiohead, Counting Crows, Travis, You Am I, Eskimo Joe and the Flaming Lips.

His all time favourite albums include: "August and Everything After" by the Counting Crows, "The Bends" by Radiohead, "Word Gets Around" by Stereophonics, and "Hot Fuss" by the Killers.

Previous musical projects include: monkeyboy.bionic (2000 - 2003), Stereo Size Queen (1999-2000) and heffalump (1998).
